Join us on Sunday 9th June 2019 for lots of family fun and the Little Gaddesden School Wild West themed Summer Fete. With plenty of games, dancing, stocks, food and drink, for small and big kids alike, it's a fun day out for everyone.

  • Location: Little Gaddesden Playing Field, Church Road.

  • Time: 12.00 - 2.30 (GO-CART RACING registration from 11.00)

  • Date: Sunday 9th June 2019

Following the success of last year's Soapbox Derby, the Cubs and Friends are joining forces again to bring the Wild West Go-Cart Race to our Little Gaddesden School Summer Fete! The Wild West Go-Cart Racing and Obstacle Course is a fun, whacky, family-friendly event, where amateur drivers race homemade go-carts, in the theme of the Wild West. Think rodeos, wagons, Cowboys/girls and Indians... oh, and of course saloons and railways! Each hand-made wagon is fuelled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little pushing and pulling!

What do I have to do?

It’s very simple. Design and build your themed cart - and race it around our designed course. With lots of prizes up for grabs for race winners… it’s guaranteed to be an action-packed event that introduces a new generation to the wonders of DIY go-carting.

It’s easier than you think to build your own wagon. Check the internet for ideas, or we can send you templates to guide your creative handiwork.
